We are hiring urgently for Operations Excellence Executive full time position for Walnut Medical, Mohali.

Qualifications & Experience: B.Tech. Mechanical/Electronics or related field with 1-2Years of experience

With the development of an advanced automotive smart instrument cluster for OEMs, we are transitioning into a multi-vertical technology product company. As part of this growth, we are building a solid automotive electronics vertical and seeking talented engineers to join our dynamic team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

An Operations Excellence Executive’s responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Operations

- Execute daily/weekly production plans to achieve output targets.
- Allocate manpower effectively across assembly, testing, and packing lines.
- Monitor WIP, ensure no delays due to material shortages.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Ensure assembly processes follow SOPs, WI, IPC standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor defect trends and support QA in root-cause analysis.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring issues.
- Maintain ESD compliance, line audits, and 5S housekeeping.

3. Inventory & Material Coordination

- Coordinate with stores for timely issuance of components.
- Ensure FIFO, proper binning, and material traceability.
- Track daily material consumption and reconcile with physical stock.
- Prevent stockouts, excess inventory, or wrong part usage.

4. Vendor, Procurement & Logistics Support

- Follow up with suppliers for timely material delivery.




- Support bill of material (BOM) verification and component availability.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules with logistics and customer service.
- Handle courier tracking, GRN follow-ups, and dispatch documentation.

5. Process Improvement & Cost Optimization

- Identify bottlenecks in assembly/testing processes and implement improvements.
- Reduce cycle time, rework, and wastage.
- Support automation initiatives and lean manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen).

6. Team Management

- Supervise operators, technicians, helpers, and packers.
- Conduct skill training and ensure adherence to shift discipline.
- Promote a safe, productive, and high-performance culture on the shopfloor.

7. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily MIS reports.
- Ensure ERP/Google Sheet updates for production status and inventory.

8. Safety & Compliance

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Conduct periodic safety checks and report near-miss incidents.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of the production area.

Skills Required:

· Desirable experience from Automotive electronics/ Electronics manufacturing/ Medical devices manufacturing/ Appliances Manufacturing/ Consumer electronics etc.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively

· Good to have knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
