Description

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for Linux and the future of AI? Brivo is looking for an Operations Engineer to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge AI software and real-world field deployments.

You will keep our on-field systems healthy, install them on customer sites, and act as the technical voice our customers hear — including when they ask hard questions about how we secure their data. This is more than a maintenance role: it is a launchpad into the worlds of DevOps, IoT, Deep Learning, and Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities

- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor a growing fleet of on-field Linux devices to ensure 100% uptime.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze application-level bugs, resolve technical roadblocks, and maintain the health of installed systems.
- Field Deployment: Lead the on-site installation and configuration of our AI products, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with customer hardware.
- Technical Support & Consulting: Act as the technical point of contact for customers, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for system optimization.
- Security Questionnaires: Respond to incoming cyber security questionnaires from current and new customers, uploading them using internal tools and preparing accurate, well-evidenced responses.
- Review & Escalation: Review responses for completeness and escalate open items to subject matter experts as needed.
- Documentation & NDAs: Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Information Security, and other relevant teams to complete final packaging, send the required documents, and execute NDAs.
- Knowledge Management: Own and maintain the internal tools, answer libraries, and documentation used for cyber security responses.
- Sales Engineering: Assist in preparing technical proposals, security documentation, and the architecture for new client solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Managers, Engineering, and Information Security to define technical guidelines and product specifications based on customer feedback.
- AI-Assisted Productivity: Apply prompt engineering techniques with internal AI tools to draft, summarize, and improve technical and security documentation.





Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- OS Mastery: Solid knowledge of the Linux Operating System is mandatory.
- Scripting: Basic proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting for automation.
- Infrastructure: Strong grasp of Hardware and Networking fundamentals.
- Cyber Security: 1+ year of relevant experience; a cyber security or related technical background is preferred.
- Prompt Engineering: Working knowledge of prompt engineering and the practical use of AI/LLM tools for documentation, troubleshooting, and analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across teams to produce a single, consistent response.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to track parallel requests and deadlines.
- Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills (essential for customer interaction and documentation).
- Certification: Red Hat Certification (RHCSA/RHCE), Cyber Security Certification is highly preferred.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / BCA.
- Languages: English, Hindi, and a local language.
