Job Title: Operations Associate, Renewable Programs

: The Operations Associate, Renewable Programs is responsible for executing high-volume administrative and operational activities across established renewable energy programs. This role manages registry and state portal submissions, transfer requests, change-of-ownership transactions, case triage, customer and installer follow-up, campaign execution, escheatment and payment-verification outreach, and documentation review. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and validate incoming program applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; submit to state programs and registries (including GATS) and track through approval.
- Manage missing-information follow-up with customers, installers, and program administrators.
- Process facility transfers in and out of registry/aggregation accounts, monitor status, and coordinate approvals with all parties involved.
- Coordinate change-of-ownership transactions, including document collection, verification, state/registry submission, and resolution of ownership or payment allocation issues.
- Triage unassigned or unresolved customer service cases across email, phone, and web channels; research account records and route or resolve inquiries directly.
- Execute email, phone, and direct-mail outreach campaigns,



including responses to customer inquiries generated by those campaigns.
- Monitor accounts approaching escheatment/unclaimed-property deadlines and complete required customer outreach before funds are reported to the state.
- Identify and resolve banking/ownership name mismatches through customer verification calls prior to payment release.
- Maintain accurate trackers, logs, and documentation across all workflows to support audit and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in operations, program administration, transaction processing, customer service, compliance support, or a related function.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review forms, documents, and system records.
- Ability to manage high-volume, process-driven work with consistent quality and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working across multiple systems, portals, trackers, and databases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple open items and deadlines.
- Comfort making outbound verification calls regarding account, ownership, or payment discrepancies.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in renewable energy, solar, clean energy programs, environmental commodities, or regulated market/utility operations.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM/case management system.
- Experience with registry, state portal, or compliance-based submission workflows.
- Experience interacting with installers, utilities, program administrators, or third-party vendors.
- Experience with escheatment, unclaimed property compliance, or payment/banking verification processes.
