Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters. Implement container orchestration best practices and support Kubernetes workloads.

Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python. Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance (RBAC, SCC, Network Policies). Collaborate with DevOps/Development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor cluster metrics, logs, capacity, and respond to incidents proactively. Drive platform improvements, performance tuning, and cost optimization. Administer, operate, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift 4.x clusters (on-premise preferred, cloud) Manage cluster components including master/worker nodes, Operators, ETCD, registries, ingress, storage, and networking.

Handle Kubernetes resources: deployments, pods, namespaces, ConfigMaps, secrets, services, and routes. Implement and manage CI/CD using Jenkins/GitLab/Tekton/ArgoCD. Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/Loki).

Implement security controls: RBAC, SCC, IAM integration, vulnerability scanning. Troubleshoot cluster issues, pod failures, performance bottlenecks, and networking problems. Work closely with application teams to onboard microservices and container workloads.



Automate platform operations using Ansible, Helm, GitOps workflows. Prepare RCA reports, maintain documentation, and support change/incident/problem management. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes administration.

Strong

Linux (RHEL/CentOS) system administration experience.

Experience managing containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Experience with service mesh (Istio/OSSM), Quay registry, or multicluster setups. Exposure to DevSecOps tools (Aqua, Twistlock, ACS/StackRox).

Essential : Strong understanding of OCP architecture, Operators, CRDs, networking, and storage. Proficiency in troubleshooting Kubernetes/OpenShift issues. Automation skills with Ansible, Bash, or Python. Knowledge of monitoring and logging stack. Robust communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred : GitOps (ArgoCD/Tekton) experience. Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible Tower). Performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization skills. Bachelor-s degree
