Essential Job Functions:

- Review and validate design of Module Mounting Structure (MMS) (fixed tilt & tracker), Verify design calculations (wind load, seismic, dead loads), Check foundation designs (pile / RCC / MMS systems), Validate design assumptions vs actual site conditions, Ensure design adequacy, safety margins, and constructability.

- Review vendor technical evaluation reports (TER)

- Validate compliance of Modules / PCS / Inverters, Transformers & BESS containers

- Ensure detailed review oriented with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and risk mitigation.





- Review & Approve detail design documents like plant layout drawings (solar array, wind turbine layout, substations, pooling stations), general arrangement (GA) drawings, Installation principles and construction methodology documents

- Provide engineering governance, technical validation, construction assurance, and EPC oversight support for Solar PV projects.

- Will be part of a team acting as an independent technical review and approval authority supporting project execution teams.

- Solar PV: plant layout, foundations, mechanical structures, earthing & lightning, pooling substation, and power evacuation.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of IS Codes & IEC standards, Survey drawings & topography.

- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and test reports.

- In-depth Knowledge of detail design of Solar, in particular experience in plant layout design and arrangement of equipment and procurement processes.

- Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction.

- Experience in BOQ analysis.

- Strong coordination and communication skills with OEMs, EPCs, and internal teams.

- Experience in solar plant engineering and construction.

- Hands on experience with FAT procedures, vendor inspections, and technical approvals.

- Strong experience with EPC projects, and renewable energy standards.

- Overall exp – 5-8years





- Qualification Criteria- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or any discipline

- Mandatory Skills – Staad pro, Module Mounting Structure (MMS), Hands on experience with FAT procedures, Solid experience with EPC projects
