Odoo Fullstack DeveloperJob Summary

We are looking for an Odoo Fullstack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, Odoo framework, OWL.js, PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, and REST APIs. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, maintaining, and supporting Odoo applications based on business requirements.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in custom Odoo module development, backend development using Python ORM, frontend development using OWL.js, report customization, API integrations, and Odoo version migration.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business and functional requirements.
- Develop custom modules from scratch and enhance existing Odoo functionalities.
- Write clean, scalable, reusable, and maintainable Python code using Odoo ORM.
- Customize Odoo models, business logic, workflows, security rules, and access rights.
- Develop and customize XML views, including Form, Tree, Kanban, and other Odoo views.
- Develop and customize QWeb reports and business reports as required.
- Build interactive frontend components and dashboards using OWL.js.
- Develop dashboards with KPI tracking, filters, drill-down navigation, charts, and configurable thresholds.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and external applications using REST APIs.
- Work with PostgreSQL for database management, ORM-level design, and query optimization.
- Customize Odoo modules across functional areas such as Sales, CRM, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, Manufacturing, Website/eCommerce, and Dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend and frontend issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in Odoo version upgrades and migrations,



including module compatibility updates and code refactoring.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure stable and reliable production deployments.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and post-deployment customization of Odoo applications.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
- Good knowledge of Odoo architecture and Odoo ORM.
- Practical experience in Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions.
- Experience with Odoo v16 onwards would be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OWL.js / JavaScript for Odoo frontend development.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience in XML view customization.
- Experience in QWeb templates and reports.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web technologies.
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Python best practices.
- Knowledge of Git for version control.
- Exposure to Docker, deployment, and server-side Odoo configuration will be an added advantage.

Functional Exposure Experience in any of the following Odoo modules will be preferred:
- Sales / CRM
- Inventory
- Purchase
- Accounting
- Manufacturing (MRP)
- Website / eCommerce




- Dashboard
- Quality / After Sales

Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
- Candidates with experience in developing custom Odoo modules and working on live production systems will be preferred.
- Experience in Odoo version migration, particularly migration between major Odoo versions, will be an added advantage.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Equivalent relevant technical experience may also be considered.
