Quantisage is a boutique Oracle consulting firm (ISO 27001 / 9001 / CMMC) running a multi-project OCI program for a major higher-education client. This contract role owns one project end-to-end: upgrading an Oracle Data Integrator estate from 12 to the 14c generation on OCI Environments.

Responsibilities

- Define the 14c target build on the ODI Marketplace image (BYOL), carrying forward the existing compute footprint and single standalone-agent topology
- Deploy 14c instances side-by-side with the running 12c estate across Dev, Test, and Production
- Clone and upgrade the Master and Work repositories hosted on Oracle Autonomous Database, never modifying the originals in place
- Migrate and validate customized Knowledge Modules; repoint and validate the standalone agent
- Verify connectivity across every source type — Autonomous Database, SQL Server, Postgres, and flat files
- Author and execute a risk-based regression strategy: full coverage of critical load plans, representative sampling across the wider mapping inventory, and performance comparison against the 12c baseline across full nightly cycles
- Author the cutover runbook, switch-back rollback procedure, change-management packages, and Go/No-Go checklist; execute the production cutover in the approved window
- Support client user acceptance testing and remediate upgrade-induced defects
- Deliver hands-on knowledge transfer and final documentation to client teams, operating within a security-hardened OCI tenancy

Qualifications





- 6+ years of Oracle Data Integrator administration and development, with deep ODI 12c internals
- At least one major ODI upgrade or migration executed end-to-end in production, including Master/Work repository upgrades
- ODI Marketplace on OCI deployment experience — image provisioning, agent configuration, wallet-based connectivity
- Experience with repositories on Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW) and ADB operational patterns
- Demonstrated regression discipline over large mapping inventories — load plan and scenario testing executed, not just planned
- Heterogeneous integration experience: SQL Server, Postgres, and flat-file sources alongside Oracle
- Proven cutover discipline — rehearsed rollback procedures and change windows delivered on time
- Excellent written communication — runbooks, change packages, and knowledge transfer materials

Preferred

- Hands-on experience with the ODI 14c generation
- Custom Knowledge Module development or migration
- Oracle GoldenGate familiarity — this platform sits between replication hops
- Analytics platform integration experience (OAC or similar BI stacks fed by ODI)
- Automation with OCI CLI, Terraform, Python, or shell
- Higher education or public sector background
