We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Ocean Freight Executive to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end ocean freight operations, ensuring timely shipments, cost efficiency, and compliance with international trade regulations.
Location: East Of Kailash, Delhi
Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Handle booking, documentation, and scheduling of ocean freight shipments.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and port authorities.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, invoices, and customs clearance papers.
- Customs Clearance Coordination: Understanding of shipping bill filing in ICEGATE.
- Customer Support: Provide clients with shipment updates and resolve queries promptly.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to international shipping laws, Incoterms, and company policies.
- Cost Optimization:
Negotiate freight rates and optimize shipping routes for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2–3 years of experience in ocean freight operations.
- Robust knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in MS Office and freight management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
