Position: NX Design Engineer

Qualification: BE / B.Tech - Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

We are looking for an experienced NX Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Engine Cooling Systems, Casting Components, and Gearbox Design. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Siemens NX and automotive/mechanical component design and development.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop engine cooling system components using Siemens NX.

Work on components such as water pumps, cooling modules, housings, brackets, pipes, fans, and related assemblies.

Design and develop casting components considering manufacturing and machining requirements.

Perform 3D modelling, assembly modelling, detailing, and drawing creation in Siemens NX.

Work on gearbox components and assemblies, including housings, covers, gears, shafts, brackets, and related parts.

Develop designs based on customer requirements, packaging constraints, and engineering specifications.

Perform design modifications, tolerance analysis, and design validation.

Apply GD&T;, DFM/DFA, casting design principles, and machining considerations.

Coordinate with manufacturing, CAE, testing,



and other engineering teams for design validation and issue resolution.

Review and resolve design issues based on engineering feedback.

Maintain proper design documentation, drawings, BOMs, and engineering change requirements.

Required Skills

3-6 years of experience in Mechanical/Automotive Product Design.

Strong hands-on experience in Siemens NX / Unigraphics (UG).

Experience in Engine Cooling System Design / Casting Components / Gearbox / Transmission Components.

Good knowledge of 3D Modelling, Assembly, and 2D Detailing.

Strong knowledge of GD&T;, Tolerancing, and Engineering Drawing Standards.

Understanding of Casting, Machining, and Manufacturing Processes.

Positive understanding of Automotive/Mechanical Components and Design Practices.

Ability to work with Cross-functional Engineering Teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Automotive Powertrain Components.

Knowledge of Sheet Metal and Plastic Component Design.

Familiarity with Teamcenter / PLM Tools.

Knowledge of Design Validation and Engineering Change Processes.

Good Communication and Problem-solving Skills.
