Role Description The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care in an on-site clinical setting in Chennai, focusing on preventive medicine and early risk identification. In this full-time role, the practitioner will conduct comprehensive health assessments, interpret diagnostics and wearable data, and develop individualized care plans aligned with Prvnt’s prevention-focused model. Daily activities include prescribing and managing treatments within the scope of practice, counseling patients on lifestyle modification, and coordinating care with physicians, allied health professionals, and wellness specialists.
The Nurse
Practitioner will document encounters in digital health systems, monitor outcomes,
and adjust interventions based on real-time insights. The role also involves contributing to clinical protocols, participating in case reviews, and supporting the integration of AI-driven tools into patient care.
Qualifications
- Licensure and education: Valid Nurse Practitioner license and registration, with a graduate degree in Nursing or related field; additional certifications in primary care, family practice, or internal medicine are an advantage.
- Clinical expertise: Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, preventive care planning, and chronic disease management, with comfort in interpreting lab results and diagnostic reports.
- Technology and data use: Ability to work with electronic health records, digital health platforms, and data from wearables and diagnostics; openness to using AI-driven clinical support tools.
- Communication and collaboration: Clear, empathetic communication skills, ability to educate patients on health risks and lifestyle changes, and experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional attributes: Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, commitment to evidence-based practice, and willingness to work in an on-site, rapid-evolving preventive care environment.
