About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Node.js and REST API development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust backend services that support our digital products.

This role requires a deep understanding of API architecture, database management, and server-side programming to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record in Node.js and REST API design. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,



or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, along with hands-on experience working with Express.js or similar frameworks. Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, is essential. Familiarity with API security protocols, including JWT and OAuth, is necessary.

The candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of asynchronous programming, and experience with version control tools like Git. Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and API documentation tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
- Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs to support various client applications.
- Build secure, high-performance, and reliable backend services to meet business requirements.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL to store and manage data efficiently.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar protocols.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to best practices.
- Conduct API testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Optimize application performance, including database queries and server responses.

- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and follow software development best practices.
- Utilize Git for version control and actively participate in CI/CD processes to streamline deployments.
