Lead Software engineer - TypeScript & AWS

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Cloud Services to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building backend services, APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions in AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build scalable and secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
- Work with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.
- Implement serverless architectures and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.




- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and production support.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js.
- Strong hands-on experience in TypeScript.
- Robust experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience working with AWS Lambda and Serverless Architecture.
- Valuable understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture.
