1. Job Summary • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network & Security Engineer (L2/L3) to design, implement, support, troubleshoot and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructure. • The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, wireless technologies, firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring and cybersecurity solutions while ensuring high availability, performance and security of network services.

2. Key Responsibilities – Network Administration & Support • Manage and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and Data Center networks. • Configure, troubleshoot and optimize routing and switching infrastructure. • Perform advanced troubleshooting for network incidents and outages. • Implement network changes following change management procedures. • Support network upgrades, migrations and technology refresh projects. • Monitor network performance and recommend improvements.

3. Security Administration • Configure and manage firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, Web Proxy and NAC solutions. • Monitor security events and respond to incidents. • Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities. • Implement security policies, standards and best practices. • Conduct firewall rule reviews and security audits. • Support compliance initiatives including ISO 27001, SOC, PCI-DSS or similar frameworks.

4. Incident & Problem Management • Act as Level 2/Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents. • Minimize downtime and ensure SLA compliance.



• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution.

5. Project Implementation • Participate in network transformation and security enhancement projects. • Deploy new network infrastructure and security technologies. • Create implementation plans, test plans and rollback procedures. • Document solutions, configurations and operational procedures.

6. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain network diagrams and asset inventories. • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Prepare capacity planning and performance reports. • Provide technical knowledge transfer and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers.

7. Technical Skills Required – Networking • TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6 • Routing Protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP • VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP • MPLS & SD-WAN • LAN/WAN Technologies • Wireless Networks: Cisco, Aruba, Meraki

8. Technical Skills Required – Security • Next Generation Firewalls: Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point • VPN Technologies: IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN • IDS/IPS • NAC: Cisco ISE, ClearPass • Web Security & Proxy Solutions • DDoS Protection • Security Monitoring & SIEM

9. Monitoring & Tools • SolarWinds • PRTG • WhatsUp Gold • ManageEngine OpManager • Wireshark • Splunk • ServiceNow

Responsibilities

Regular field assignments and customer-facing responsibilities.



• Travel to customer locations as required for project implementation. • On-site equipment installation and deployment. • On-site technical troubleshooting and support. • Direct coordination with customer stakeholders during implementation and support activities. • Candidates should be comfortable with a work model involving on-site travel and field operations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. • 2–3 years of experience in Network and Security Operations. • Working knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls and VPN technologies. • Ability to troubleshoot medium-complexity network issues independently. • Expert-level troubleshooting and architecture experience. • Experience leading implementation and migration projects. • Ability to lead technical discussions.

Preferred Certifications • Networking: Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP • Security: Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE/FCP/FCE, Cisco Security Certifications, Check Point CCSA/CCSE • Cloud: Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
