Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education

- 8+ years’ experience in networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Wireless Networking, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, IPv4/v6, NSX-T, and administration of routers/switches with a proven record of successful deployment and management of network security solutions at a mid to large-scale enterprise network

- Routing Protocol knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and experience with QOS

- Strong Troubleshooting skills on Firewalls

- Strong Core/Distributed/Edge/Access, data center, and wireless experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- this role is heavily collaborative

- Have hands-on experience on Routers, Switches and Palo Alto firewall as well as Panorama.

Experience in installing, configuring, managing multivendor firewall. Checkpoint firewall experience would be a plus.

- Experience in Palo Alto firewall migration from Checkpoint and ASA.

- Implement best practices for Palo Alto Networks Firewall Deployment and Operations.

- Configuration and Management of LAN, WAN and Wireless infrastructure.

Meraki

Wireless experience would be a Plus.

- Campus and branch LAN, WAN network connectivity design experience would be a plus.

- General networking technologies, including routing (BGP/OSPF/Static), DNS/DHCP, DMZ design.

- In-depth knowledge of generally accepted security methods, concepts, and techniques.

- Analysis, planning, modification and maintenance of the network and security components, including network monitoring systems.

- Create,



and update documentation on current or existing platforms that include equipment lists/diagrams, and system specifications

- Willing to work in Rotational shift and Tickets and ensure SLA is not breached.

Preferred Qualifications

- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE);

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

- Experience with: Palo Alto and/or Checkpoint Firewalls

- Experience with: Cisco, Meraki, and/or Client Switches

- Experience with: SD-WAN and SSE core technology
