Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Network Engineer (L2) with 3+ years of experience in enterprise networking, cloud networking, and network security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Aruba and Cisco switching, Fortinet and Cisco firewalls, wireless networking, Azure and AWS cloud networking, VPN technologies, Windows network services, and enterprise network troubleshooting.

The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining secure, highly available on-premises and cloud network infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Network Administration

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 enterprise networks.
- Deploy and manage Aruba AOS/CX, Cisco Catalyst/Meraki switches
- Configure VLANs, Trunking, LACP, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Inter-VLAN Routing, ACLs, QoS, and High Availability protocols.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, and Static Routing.
- Monitor network performance and implement proactive improvements.

Wireless Infrastructure





- Configure and manage Access Points with Controller and with Insta like Aruba, Ruckus, Cisco, Forti etc.
- Implement SSIDs, VLAN mapping, guest Wi-Fi, captive portals, and roaming.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity and coverage issues.

Firewall & Network Security

- Configure and manage Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Implement and troubleshoot: Firewall Policies, NAT, Security Policies, Web Filtering, Application Control, SSL Inspection, SD- WAN and Load Balancing.
- Configure and manage IPSec Site-to-Site VPN, SSL VPN and Remote Access VPN.
- Perform firewall firmware upgrades and backup/restore.
- Analyze firewall logs and security events.

Security Technologies

- Configure and monitor IDS/IPS.
- Implement network segmentation and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot security-related connectivity issues.
- Assist in vulnerability remediation and network hardening.

Windows Network Services

- Configure and troubleshoot: DNS, DHCP, NPS, Radius/Tacacs+ and other securities.
- Configure and troubleshoot FQDN resolution.
- Support Active Directory-integrated DNS environments.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

- Monitor network devices and bandwidth utilization.
- Perform root cause analysis for network outages.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and firewall issues.
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors during incidents.

Documentation

- Maintain network diagrams and topology documentation.
- Update IP addressing plans.




- Prepare configuration backup documentation.
- Maintain asset inventory and change records.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
