.NET Tech Lead - 6 to 9 Yrs Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a.NET Tech Lead with 6–9years of experience who can own architecture and delivery of mission-critical ASP.NET Core services and integrations on Azure/on premise services. Lead a squad (4–6 engineers), drive code quality, security, reliability, and mentor developers while partnering with Product, QA, and DevOps.

Role

- Ship/modernize versioned Web APIs(.NET 8+)

- Establish Clean Architecture standards and API governance

- Hardening: OAuth2.1/OIDC withMicrosoft Entra ID, secrets inKey Vault

- Observability: actionableApp Insightsdashboards/alerts, trace correlation end-to-end

- Performance wins: caching (Redis), pagination, connection/memory tuning

Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Domain modelling, module boundaries, API versioning, DB schemas, event flows

- Delivery Leadership: Break down epics, set milestones, manage risks/dependencies, run estimations and reviews.

- Code Excellence: Enforce patterns (DI, pipelines, filters), PR standards, static analysis, test strategy.

- Security & Compliance: OIDC/JWT, RBAC/claims, data protection keys, rate limiting & throttling, threat modelling, secure headers.

- Data Layer:EF Core strategy (migrations, interceptors, compiled queries), SQL Server tuning (Query Store, indexing).

- Cloud & DevOps:Azure App Service/Container Apps, Azure SQL, Storage,APIM policies, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps

- Collaboration:Align contracts with UI teams (React/Kendo), coordinate with QA on test automation, support releases/on-call.

- Mentorship:Coach 4–6 engineers, run design reviews, pair programming, and growth plans.

Required Skills and Experience
- 6–9 years inC# / ASP.NET Core (Web API)with production ownership.

- DeepEF Core+SQL Serverexperience (transactions, isolation levels, performance).

- StrongAzurehands-on: App Service/Container Apps, Azure SQL, Storage,Key Vault,Application Insights.





Secure auth withEntra ID (Azure AD)/ OAuth2.1 / OIDC; multi-tenant and rate-limit awareness.

- Proven leadership of a small team/squad; backlog ownership and stakeholder communication.

- Solid grasp of HTTP, REST, caching, async I/O, connection pooling, and diagnostics.

Preferred Skills
- Azure API Management productization (policies, products/subscriptions, JWT validation).

- Messaging:Service Bus,Event Grid; outbox/idempotency patterns.

- Background processing:Hangfire,WebJobs, Azure Functions timers/queues.

- Security: CSP/HSTS, content validation, anti-XSS/IDOR prevention, dependency scanning (SCA).

- Integrations: Microsoft Graph/SharePoint, SAP/ERP (OData/IDoc/file drops), file ingestion hardening.

- Data/reporting exposure: Power BI; ETL reliability for exports/imports.

- Front-end collaboration: React/TypeScript API clients (OpenAPI/NSwag), CORS strategies.

Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/MTech/MCA).
