Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

- Candidate should have good end-to-end RBM knowledge
- Billing domain knowledge is a must, including Postpaid Billing, CDR flow, Rating and Discounting, Bill Generation, Payments & Collections, and Revenue Journaling.
- Hands-on experience on Rating and Billing configuration, SQL, PLSQL APIs, Unix /Perl scripts, Oracle
- Experience in rating, billing, bill formatting, reporting and financials
- Knowledge of RBM entity relationship
- Hands-on experience on integration with upstream systems like ordering, mediation, etc., and downstream systems like finance system, bill formatter, etc.,
- Seasoned billing domain expert: ability to ask the right questions, positive abstract analyst, able to think of solutions and carry out pros and cons discussions on alternative solutions with relevant stakeholders; pragmatic, active listener, diligent at documenting, attention to detail
- Functional knowledge on Billing, Payments and Collections, including product configuration, usage modeling, interfaces definition, payments, collections, revenue sharing, accounts receivables, revenue reconciliation, migrations:

o Rating: Conceptual understanding of usage configuration principles o Billing: Conceptual understanding of product configuration, bundles, discounts, promotions, VAT, billing behavior configuration o Bill presentation: Bill preparation, bill presentment, bill delivery o Post-billing: Online and offline payments, finance reporting, journaling and cash journaling, mandates processing, revenue sharing, electronic feeds, reporting o Interfaces: 3rd party settlements,



CRM, revenue share, order orchestration interface, self-care, architecture interface definition

Operations

- Operate and maintain the Netcracker RBM platform, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot billing processes, revenue assurance, and data integrity issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement RBM configurations.
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure billing accuracy.
- Support integration with other OSS/BSS systems and third-party platforms.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis for RBM-related issues.
- Provide operational support during product launches, migrations, and upgrades.
- Document operational procedures, configurations, and best practices.
