M365 Copilot Platform Manager

§ Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Copilot Senior Platform Manager to join our energetic Microsoft 365 Collaboration Services team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft 365 tenant administration, architecture, and infrastructure topics. This role requires a solid knowledge of various Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Viva, Purview, Copilot, Planner, Forms, Whiteboard, etc.

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience working as an Infrastructure Architect managing Microsoft 365 tenants for large-size company.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture and Design: Lead the architecture and design of Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
- Technical Product Ownership: Act as the product owner accountable & responsible for Microsoft 365 Copilot - leading projects, implementation, and consulting around the area of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- People Management: Lead and manage a team of 5–6 architects. Oversee their work on platform support, configuration management, incident resolution, and operational excellence. Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and career development guidance.
- Infrastructure Projects & Evergreen: Implement & steer mid to large scale org-wide infrastructure projects around Microsoft 365. Evaluate and implement new features from the Microsoft 365 (evergreen) message center,
- Tenant Administration: Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 Henkel tenant – admin configurations,



features and ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance.
- GDPR & Privacy Compliance: Act as the primary interface between the Microsoft 365 Copilot platform team and internal/external stakeholders in Legal, Data Privacy (GDPR), and Security. Ensure all platform initiatives, deployments, and changes are reviewed for compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Security Governance: Collaborate with security teams to assess risks, implement security controls, and respond to evolving threats. Participate in security reviews, audits, and incident response activities related to Microsoft 365 Copilot and associated services.
- License Management: Manage Microsoft 365 licenses to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all Microsoft 365 solutions. Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff.

Qualifications

§ Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

§ Experience:



Minimum of 12 years of experience as an Infrastructure Architect managing Microsoft 365 tenants

§ People Management: with at least 2–3 years of experience in team leadership or people management. Proven experience managing teams of 5–6 architects, including task delegation, performance reviews, and career development planning.

§ Technical & Functional Skills:

- Deep skillset in Microsoft 365 tenant administration and architecture.
- All-rounder on various Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint tenant architecture & administration, Microsoft Teams tenant settings including meeting and app policies, and Teams premium features, Microsoft Viva (engage, insights, learning, connections), Copilot tenant administration, Copilot Agents, Copilot Control System, Copilot Analytics, SharePoint Premium, Teams Premium, SharePoint Advanced management plan, Purview (including retention, labels, DSPM, communication compliance), Planner, Forms, Power Platform, etc.
- Expertise in implementing and rolling out mid to large-scale Microsoft 365 infrastructure projects globally / org-wide and expertise in evaluating and implementing new features in Microsoft 365 (evergreen).
- Strong functional expertise in GDPR, Security, Compliance and strong experience is handling these cross-functional stakeholders
- Expert in PowerShell scripting and automation.
