Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Modular Support Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, BIM coordination, and delivery of modular support systems for MEP services.

The role requires strong knowledge of support design, structural calculations, international standards, BIM coordination, and modular construction methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

- Design modular support systems for piping, ductwork, cable trays, equipment, and other MEP services.
- Perform support load calculations and structural analysis for static and dynamic loads.
- Design seismic bracing and restraint systems as per project requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
- Verify support spans, anchorage, base plate capacities, and load transfer mechanisms.
- Optimize support configurations to reduce material quantities and installation time.

BIM & Coordination

- Develop and review 3D support models using Revit and other BIM platforms.
- Coordinate support layouts with MEP, architectural, and structural teams.
- Identify and resolve clashes through BIM coordination.
- Ensure support models comply with required LOD and project standards.
- Review design submissions and shop drawings.
- Provide technical support and clarifications to clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Participate in design reviews and value engineering activities.




- Maintain engineering quality, document control, and revision management.

Qualification & Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in Modular Support Design, MEP Support Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of MEP support design principles and structural calculations.
- Experience in seismic restraint and non-structural component support design will be preferred.

Software Skills
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP – coordination-level knowledge
- Navisworks
- Exposure to STAAD and RSTAB will be preferred.

Preferred Experience
- Experience with Hilti, Unistrut, Sikla, Eaton B-Line, MPSS, or equivalent modular support systems.
- Exposure to prefabrication and off-site construction methodologies.
- Experience with data centers, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other mission-critical facilities.
- Experience in leading support design packages and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Positive understanding of international standards applicable to support and seismic restraint design.
