Required Skills

Technical

- Strong knowledge of Architecture Patterns — MVVM, Clean Architecture/VIPER — on the primary platform.

- Expertise in platform-specific SDKs, UI frameworks, and testing frameworks:

- iOS: Swift/SwiftUI, Cocoa Touch, XCTest

- Android: Kotlin/Java, Jetpack, JUnit, Espresso, Mockito

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

- Understanding of platform design guidelines (Apple HIG / Material Design).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for mobile releases.

- Good understanding of app security — encryption, secure storage, certificate pinning, authentication protocols.

Process & Collaboration

- Good experience working in an agile environment — sprint delivery, estimation, and backlog refinement.

- Strong communicator with ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.

- Self-starter who can take ownership of features end-to-end with minimal guidance.

Preferred / Good to Have

- Working knowledge of the second mobile platform (iOS or Android) is a robust advantage.

- Prior experience in banking or digital banking domain.

- Exposure to digital transformation and up-to-date fintech ecosystems.

- Knowledge of hybrid frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is not required but acceptable as additional exposure.

What You Will Do

- Design, develop, test, and deploy native mobile applications on your primary platform.





- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure implementation aligns with defined patterns and standards.

- Write clean, testable, and secure code following team coding standards and best practices.

- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

- Participate in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback to raise the engineering bar.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PO, QA, Design) through design and development to deliver high-quality features.

- Support continuous improvement of technology, testing practices, and delivery processes.

- Contribute to product roadmap discussions and provide technical feasibility inputs during refinement.

- Act as a reliable team contributor, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members where needed

Qualification

- Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

- 6–8 years of experience in native mobile application development on iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin/Java).

- Strong expertise in implementing mobile app architectures and delivering production-grade applications.

- Understanding of security best practices in mobile app development.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and willingness to adopt AI-driven workflows.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git, GitLab).
