Job Title: Automobile MIS Executive

Reports to: MIS Manager / Operations Manager

Position Overview:

The Automobile MIS Executive will be responsible for generating and analyzing reports related to the dealership's operations, sales, inventory, and customer data. The role involves working closely with the sales, inventory, and finance teams to provide actionable insights based on the data, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to accurate, real-time information. The MIS Executive will play a crucial role in improving operational efficiency, monitoring performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management:

- Collect and consolidate data from various departments such as sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by regularly validating and updating the information.
- Maintain and update the MIS databases regularly to ensure real-time access to data.

1. Report Generation & Analysis:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to sales performance, inventory levels, customer data, and financials.
- Develop customized reports based on specific departmental needs or management requests.
- Analyze trends, identify potential issues, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

1. Inventory & Sales Monitoring:

- Monitor vehicle inventory levels and sales performance, ensuring stock is well-managed and aligned with sales forecasts.




- Identify patterns and forecast inventory requirements based on historical sales data and market trends.
- Provide sales teams with data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve conversion rates.

1. Dashboard Development & Data Visualization:

- Create and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key business metrics.
- Use data visualization tools (like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) to present complex data in an easy-to-understand format for various stakeholders.

1. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver tailored data insights.
- Provide regular support and training to team members on how to interpret reports and use data for decision-making.

1. Data Integrity & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and company policies while handling sensitive customer and sales data.
- Take proactive steps to minimize errors in data entry and reporting.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.

1. Forecasting & Trend Analysis:

- Assist in forecasting sales, inventory requirements, and budget planning using historical data and predictive analytics.
- Provide market analysis based on available data to help make informed business decisions.





1. Process Improvement:

- Continuously improve data collection, reporting processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Suggest and implement automation tools to reduce manual efforts in report generation and data entry.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an MIS or data analysis role, preferably in the automobile industry or a related field.

- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, macros, pivot tables) and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
- Good understanding of database management and SQL.
- Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
