Role: Mid Level Enterprise QA Tester

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Work Hours: 3:30am-11:30am ET

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: Hybrid - Pune, India

Drives quality assurance testing activities for enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, and business platforms to ensure software quality, system reliability, and successful delivery of business capabilities. Collaborates with business and technology teams to validate complex workflows, system integrations, and end-to-end business processes while supporting continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop test plans and testing approaches for enterprise applications, integrations, and business initiatives.

· Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and validation strategies.

· Execute and support functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing activities.

· Validate complex business processes spanning multiple enterprise applications and systems.

· Perform in-depth analysis of QA, UAT, and production issues, document findings, validate fixes, and track defects through resolution.

· Coordinate with business analysts, developers, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues and support successful delivery outcomes.

· Validate system integrations, APIs, web services, batch processes, and data exchanges between enterprise platforms.

· Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, business transactions, and processing outcomes.

· Analyze quality metrics, testing results, and defect trends to identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.

· Maintain testing documentation, test artifacts, and defect records in accordance with established QA standards and processes.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

· 6-8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.





· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality assurance methodologies, and testing best practices.

· Proven ability to perform functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing across complex business applications.

· Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques used to verify business transactions and system processing outcomes.

· Hands-on testing of enterprise applications, system integrations, APIs, web services, and business platforms.

· Knowledge of batch processing, data exchanges, and complex system interfaces supporting enterprise business workflows.

· Familiarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager, Rally, Jira, or similar platforms.

· Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

· Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.

· Insurance industry knowledge is preferred. · Guidewire application knowledge is preferred but not required.

· Ability to communicate testing results, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

· Equivalent combination of education, professional certifications, and relevant professional experience will be considered.

· Relevant certifications in software testing, Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, or quality assurance are a plus.
