Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Micronutrient Consultant role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Micronutrient

Consultant will advise farmers and agribusiness clients on the appropriate use of micronutrient fertilizers and soil amendments to improve crop yield and quality. Day-to-day tasks include conducting field visits, assessing soil and crop conditions, recommending suitable micronutrient products and application methods, and monitoring results over the growing season. The role involves preparing technical reports, maintaining detailed records of recommendations and outcomes,



and collaborating with internal teams on product development and improvement.

The consultant will also provide training sessions and demonstrations, support sales colleagues with technical expertise, and stay up to date with the latest agronomic research and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of agronomy, soil science, plant nutrition, and micronutrient management for major crops.
- Experience in field advisory work, including conducting farm visits, crop inspections, and soil sampling.
- Ability to interpret soil and tissue test reports and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with farmers, dealers, and internal teams.
- Basic proficiency in data recording, report writing, and use of common office and field documentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in fertilizer, crop protection, or agricultural input industry is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Greater Kolkata Area and work in field conditions.
