Role Description The MICE & Wedding Planner - Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for driving sales and managing end-to-end planning for weddings, corporate events, conferences, and group bookings across Saj Hotels properties.

Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective clients, understanding their event requirements, preparing proposals and budgets, conducting site visits, and coordinating with internal teams such as operations, F&B;, and reservations. The role involves negotiating contracts, managing event timelines, ensuring high service standards during events, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external partners.

The Sales

Manager will also track sales performance, support marketing initiatives,



and contribute to developing packages and offerings for MICE and wedding segments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Event Planning skills to manage multiple events and timelines efficiently.
- Candidates should possess specialized Wedding Planning expertise to design and coordinate wedding experiences aligned with client expectations.
- Candidates should possess solid Budgeting skills to prepare cost-effective proposals, manage event financials, and optimize revenue.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build long-term client relationships and ensure high satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, event management, or sales, preferably in MICE and weddings.
- Robust communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present proposals and close deals.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with CRM or sales tools is beneficial.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
