Role Overview:

As a Metadata Operations Professionals, you will be responsible for creating, curating, editing, and maintaining high-quality metadata for movies, TV shows, audio programs, and other entertainment content used across Aeroplay’s client platforms. Your role is critical in ensuring that content is well-tagged, easily searchable, enriched with accurate and comprehensive information, and compliant with client requirements, thereby enhancing the in-flight entertainment experience for passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

● Creating, editing, and managing metadata for a wide range of content including movies, TV shows, and audio programs.

● Ensure high standards of metadata accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client-specific guidelines and industry standards.

● Oversee the sourcing, resizing, and quality control of images, posters, thumbnails, and other content assets.

● Collaborate closely with content programming, scheduling, technical, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and seamless delivery of metadata and assets for platform integration.





● Maintain and improve internal metadata databases, trackers, and workflows to ensure operational efficiency.

● Conduct in-depth research and verification of information such as synopses, cast & crew details, genre classification, awards, ratings, and other relevant content attributes.

● Establish quality control protocols and perform regular audits of metadata and content libraries before deployment.

● Proactively identify metadata and asset issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

● Monitor metadata performance and generate reports, providing actionable insights to improve content discoverability and operations.

● Support ad-hoc metadata and asset management requests and projects from the content operations leadership.
