ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to lead the development and delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js. The successful candidate will take ownership of frontend architecture, contribute to key technical decisions, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices across the frontend development lifecycle.

The role also requires hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and adherence to development standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-ready web applications using React and Next.js, including App Router, SSR, SSG, and ISR.
- Lead technical discussions and make key architectural decisions related to component design, state management, and application data flow.
- Drive frontend performance optimization, focusing on Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering strategies, caching, and overall application performance.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability, including reviewing AI-generated code.
- Utilize AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT to improve development efficiency while validating generated code for correctness, security, and compliance with standards.
- Work closely with backend engineers to define, integrate, and consume REST and GraphQL APIs, including effective handling of errors and loading states.
- Convert Figma designs and design system specifications into reusable, accessible, and well-tested frontend components.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.




- Promote and implement effective testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature requirements, estimate development efforts, and identify technical risks and trade-offs.
- Keep up to date with developments in the React and Next.js ecosystem and evaluate new technologies, libraries, and AI-assisted workflows for potential adoption.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Extensive hands-on experience with React, including Hooks, Context API, and component design patterns.
- Strong experience with Next.js, including App Router or Pages Router, SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes.
- Good understanding of state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and frontend styling tools or frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules.
- Proven experience in improving web application performance and optimizing Core Web Vitals, including LCP, CLS, and INP.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, including authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT,



and Claude as part of the software development workflow, with the ability to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
- Strong experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows, including GitHub/GitLab, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of web accessibility standards, including WCAG and ARIA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Exposure to backend or full-stack development using Node.js, particularly for collaboration on API design.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM-based features into frontend applications, such as chat interfaces, streaming responses, or prompt-driven user interfaces.
- Familiarity with cloud and deployment platforms such as Vercel, AWS, or Azure.
- Previous experience mentoring developers or leading a small development team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: ₹307,268.20 - ₹800,000.00 per year
