Role Description The MEP Project Manager will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) components for interior projects having 7-8 years of relevant experience, ensuring that designs, installations, and systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements. This is a full time, on-site role based in Halol, where the individual will coordinate with design, construction, and contractor teams to plan, schedule, and monitor MEP works from inception to handover.
Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and submittals, managing budgets and cost controls related to MEP scope, tracking progress against milestones, and resolving technical issues on-site. The MEP Project Manager will conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with codes and quality standards, prepare project reports, and communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders. The role also involves risk management, supporting value engineering decisions, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) expertise, including practical experience with plumbing systems and coordination of MEP services in interior or construction projects.
- Candidates should possess project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and oversight of submittals, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess budgeting and cost management skills, including estimating, cost control, and alignment of MEP scope with project financial targets.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality control practices for MEP installations.
- Candidates should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on value engineering.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience managing MEP works on interior or building projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and use of project management or construction-related software is an advantage.
