Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer Projects to manage and coordinate MEP design, project execution, costing, scheduling, statutory approvals, and stakeholder coordination. The role will ensure that MEP designs comply with applicable NBC and BIS codes, projects are executed within budget and timelines, and all required approvals and completion requirements are obtained.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and ensure MEP designs comply with NBC and BIS codes.

- Validate MEP drawings and costing before release for tender and execution.

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, liaisoning teams, and project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

- Prepare design briefs based on project requirements and lessons learned.

- Review and coordinate GFC drawings before commencement of work.

- Estimate and optimize MEP project costs through value engineering.

- Prepare and monitor project execution schedules, approval schedules, and procurement schedules.

- Conduct regular design and progress reviews and track project progress against timelines and budgets.

- Coordinate and expedite statutory and completion approvals, including Fire Safety, CEIG, CC, and Lift Inspection.

- Coordinate requirements for temporary and permanent power connections from TNEB.

- Coordinate water and sewer connection procedures for completed buildings.

- Evaluate and manage vendors, contractors, and consultants, including cost negotiations.

- Identify new products and industry best practices to improve project specifications.





- Record lessons learned from completed projects and implement improvements in future designs.

- Prepare and present weekly project status and progress reports to management.

- Supervise facility operations of completed projects.

Qualification &

- Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.

- 8–10 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years of experience in residential projects.

- Hands-on experience in electrical installations including panels, diesel generators, solar systems, and pumps.

- Experience in electrical and plumbing project costing.

- Experience using planning tools for project scheduling and monitoring.

- Experience in statutory approval coordination and project completion requirements.

- Solid communication, presentation, coordination, and negotiation skills.

- Good spoken and written English.

- AutoCAD and ERP knowledge will be an added advantage.
