Patient Counsellor who can understand patient concerns, communicate treatment information clearly, and help patients navigate their aesthetic treatment journey.

Role Overview The Patient Counsellor will serve as an important point of contact between patients and the clinical team. The role involves understanding patient needs, explaining procedures and treatment pathways in a clear and responsible manner, coordinating consultations, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from enquiry through follow-up.

The ideal candidate should combine healthcare knowledge, solid communication skills, empathy, and patient-handling abilities .

Key Responsibilities

Patient Counselling & Communication

- Understand patients’ concerns, expectations, and treatment goals.
- Communicate procedure-related information in a simple, clear, and empathetic manner.
- Help patients understand the consultation and treatment process.
- Address general patient questions and ensure appropriate clinical questions are escalated to the doctor.
- Build trust and maintain a professional relationship with patients.

Patient Coordination
- Coordinate consultations, appointments, follow-ups, and treatment-related visits.
- Maintain regular communication with patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, medical coordinators, and other internal teams.
- Ensure patients receive relevant pre- and post-consultation information as advised by the clinical team.

Patient Experience




- Provide a welcoming and professional experience to patients visiting AEONA.
- Follow up with prospective and existing patients in a timely manner.
- Understand patient feedback and communicate relevant concerns to the appropriate team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information responsibly.

Documentation & Follow-up
- Maintain accurate patient and counselling records.
- Update patient interactions and follow-ups in the CRM or relevant system.
- Track consultations and follow-up requirements.
- Support the team in maintaining an organized patient pipeline.

Qualifications

Required:

- BDS / Bachelor of Dental Surgery or
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Psychology.

Preferred:

- 1–3 years of experience in patient counselling, healthcare, hospital, clinic, wellness, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience in aesthetic, cosmetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, dental, or premium healthcare settings is an advantage.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Hindi proficiency is preferred.
- Good knowledge of basic medical terminology and healthcare communication.
