Role Description The Medical Coding Trainer will deliver structured classroom and practical training sessions on medical coding to learners at the Pune Division, ensuring they understand coding guidelines, medical terminology, and health information management principles.

Responsibilities include developing and updating training materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with current coding standards and industry expectations. The role involves mentoring learners, evaluating performance, providing constructive feedback,



and supporting them in exam preparation and interview readiness. The Trainer will collaborate with other faculty and the placement team to maintain high training quality and learner outcomes.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.

Qualifications

- Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills, with practical exposure to industry standards and practices.
- Knowledge of Health Information Management and familiarity with RHIT or equivalent credentials.
- Strong grasp of Medical Terminology and its application in clinical documentation and coding.
- Experience in training, teaching, or mentoring in a healthcare or education setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, life sciences, or related field; certification in medical coding is preferred.
- Clear communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts simply, and comfort speaking in front of groups.
- Strong organizational skills for planning courses, managing schedules, and maintaining training records.
- Commitment to learner success, professionalism, and continuous updating of knowledge in medical coding.
