About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-driven Media Sales Executive to drive advertising revenue for our radio station. The role involves identifying potential advertisers, developing client relationships, selling radio advertising solutions, creating customized packages, and achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and negotiation skills, a positive understanding of the local market, and the ability to build relationships with businesses, advertising agencies, and brands.

Role & responsibilities :

- Identify and acquire new advertisers and business clients.
- Generate leads through market visits, references, networking, cold calling, and digital platforms.
- Explore opportunities for event sponsorships, brand partnerships, and integrated campaigns.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure and payment collection.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, brands, advertising agencies, and media planners.




- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable radio advertising solutions.
- Prepare customized advertising proposals, media plans, quotations, and commercial packages.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/revenue targets.
- Coordinate with the RJ, Programming, Creative, Production, Marketing, and Operations teams to execute campaigns smoothly.
- Follow up with clients for campaign approvals, creatives, payments, and renewals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, sales pipeline, bookings, and collections.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and advertising opportunities
- Ensure excellent client servicing and encourage repeat business.

Preferred candidate profile We are looking for someone who is confident, outgoing, persuasive, commercially aware, and passionate about sales and media. Someone who can walk into a business, understand its marketing needs, and turn that requirement into a successful advertising campaign for the station.
