- Reactor Integrity: Oversee the inspection and maintenance of the main horizontal reactor, including the drive system (rollers/gears) and the high-temperature graphite seals.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Implement and manage the 3-month rolling PM calendar, focusing on filter replacements every 3000 hours and lubrication of all rotating parts.
- Maintain the integrity of the equipments in Plant by Carried out Asset Integrity.
- Utility Management: Supervise the operation of the Nitrogen Generator, ensuring the air compressor and refrigerated dryer provide high-quality, oil-free air to the PSA towers.
- Ensure all mechanical equipment, especially the PESO Tank Farm and Pipe Racks, maintain “Earth Integrity” to prevent static ignition.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement of the production process to improve quality, quantity, efficiency and yield.
- Maintain & enforce excellent standards housekeeping. Participate and provide inputs in PSSR (Pre Startup Safety Review), HAZOP, HIRA.
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis of breakdowns & major deviations and make necessary corrections by reviewing process safety to achieve Zero Accidents & Zero Breakdown goal and conduct risk assessment for process and operation with Safety & process team.
- Leak Detection: Lead weekly “Soap Bubble” and LEL detector tests on all syngas manifolds and flange joints.
- Pressure Systems: Maintain all pressure relief valves (PRVs) and rupture discs, ensuring they are calibrated to the plant’s safety setpoints.
- Work Management: Act as the primary authority for “Work Permits,” ensuring the plant imparted work permit in Each Job.
- Unscheduled Downtime: Less than 48 hours per month.
- Seal Life: Maximize the interval between graphite packing replacements through proper alignment.
- Spare Parts Management: Maintain a “Critical Spares” inventory of Plant,
- Coordinate with the Operation team for recent projects or any modifications in the existing setup.
Qualification and Experience:
- BE/Btech Mechanical
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 8–10 years in heavy continuous process industries (Refineries, Cement, or Chemical plants).
