About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer to work on our 3D printing machines, production systems, and product manufacturing processes.

The role will involve machine assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, basic mechanical design, and continuous improvement of our 3D printing systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machines and wants practical experience in additive manufacturing and machine development.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, install, calibrate, and maintain 3D printers and related machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in machines.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain machine health and reliability.
- Assist in designing and modifying mechanical components and assemblies.
- Work with components such as linear rails, bearings, belts, lead screws, motors, extruders, frames, and related mechanisms.
- Support machine testing, calibration, and performance optimization.
- Assist in building and improving 3D printer prototypes and production machines.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, assembly procedures, BOMs, and maintenance records.
- Support day-to-day operation of the 3D printing and manufacturing setup.





Preferred Skills & Experience

- Good understanding of mechanical systems, machines, and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC, CAM, machining, robotics, or automation is preferred.
- Basic understanding of tolerances, fits, fasteners, bearings, shafts, belts, and motion systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic systems will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and work hands-on with machines.

Academic knowledge is important, but we particularly value people who enjoy understanding how machines work, diagnosing problems, building things, and improving existing systems. Experience with 3D printers, CNC machines, CAD/CAM, robotics, or personal engineering projects will be considered a strong advantage.
