Job Responsibilities

- Must have thorough knowledge of Diesel Generator (DG) Engines and their complete operation.
- Must have detailed knowledge of all major engine components, their functions, and how they work together.
- Should be experienced in engine dismantling, inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, and testing.
- Must be able to identify engine faults and troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
- Should have good knowledge of fuel system, cooling system, lubrication system, air intake system, exhaust system, starting system, and charging system.
- Must be able to identify engine spare parts and understand their purpose, quality, and application.
- Should be capable of identifying required spare parts and service requirements accurately.
- Responsible for Techinical supervising, and completing generator servicing and maintenance work.
- Must be capable of assigning work to technicians, mechanics, and helpers and ensuring that the work is completed correctly and on time.
- Must effectively manage and supervise workers and maintain discipline at the workplace.
- Should regularly monitor the quality and progress of service and repair work.
- Must guide technicians in diagnosing and resolving difficult technical problems.
- Responsible for checking the generator after service and ensuring that it is operating properly before delivery to the customer.
- Should maintain proper safety standards and ensure that technicians follow safe working procedures.




- Must be able to handle customer complaints related to generator breakdowns and provide appropriate technical solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Solid practical experience in DG Set / Diesel Engine Service and Maintenance is mandatory.
- Thorough knowledge of diesel engine construction, operation, components, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience in engine repair, overhaul, dismantling, and assembly.
- Ability to independently diagnose engine faults and find appropriate solutions.
- Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise technicians, mechanics, and helpers and get work completed efficiently.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, honest, and committed to quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple service jobs and complete work within the required time.

Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience as a Generator Service Foreman, Senior Technician, Diesel Engine Mechanic, or DG Set Service Engineer will be given preference.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

We are looking for a person with strong hands-on practical knowledge of diesel engines — not just theoretical knowledge. The candidate must be capable of independently dismantling an engine, identifying faults, replacing or repairing components, reassembling the engine, testing it, and ensuring that the generator operates properly.

The candidate must also have the ability to lead a team, assign work properly, supervise workers, and ensure that all service jobs are completed with good quality and on time.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
