Mechanical Engineer - Plant Maintenance

S-CCI India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer - Plant Maintenance for its manufacturing facility at Chopanki/Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The position will report directly to the Factory DGM and will be responsible for the mechanical reliability and maintenance of a large and diverse manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of process and holding tanks, agitators and mixing systems

• Pumps, mechanical seals, bearings, couplings and alignment

• Process piping, valves and associated equipment

• Filling and packaging machinery, conveyors, cappers and material-handling equipment

• Pneumatic systems, gearboxes, chains, sprockets and mechanical drives

• Chillers, compressors, cooling systems and other mechanical utilities

• Preventive and breakdown maintenance

• Root-cause analysis of repetitive failures and implementation of permanent corrective actions

• Planning shutdown and preventive-maintenance activities

• Supervision and development of mechanical fitters, pipe fitters and welders/fabricators





• Coordination with OEMs and external contractors for specialised maintenance

• Maintaining critical-spares requirements and equipment maintenance records

Candidate Profile

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Preferably 8-12 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant

• Strong practical knowledge of pumps, piping, rotating equipment, filling/packaging machinery and utilities

• Experience in liquid-processing, chemical, lubricant, FMCG, automotive-component or similar manufacturing industries would be particularly relevant

• Must be comfortable personally diagnosing problems on the shop floor rather than functioning only as a maintenance administrator

• Robust emphasis on preventive maintenance and eliminating repeat breakdowns
