Overview: As an Engineer specializing in Mechanical systems at JLL, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction projects. You'll ensure that all mechanical installations and systems meet quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate mechanical construction activities
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers for mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, structural, etc.)
- Monitor project budgets and schedules related to mechanical work
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
- Resolve technical issues and propose solutions
- Participate in project meetings and communicate with stakeholders
- Oversee commissioning and handover of mechanical systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager with focus on mechanical systems
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical building systems
- Familiarity with building codes and industry standards
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, MS Project)
