About the RoleApollo Solar Power is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in solar structure roll-forming machines and production operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining the roll-forming machine used for manufacturing solar mounting structures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and manage solar structure roll-forming machines for continuous production.
- Set up the machine according to required profile, dimensions, thickness, and production specifications.
- Handle machine settings, tooling, rollers, guides, and alignment.
- Monitor the production process and ensure smooth machine operation.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues during production.
- Ensure proper machine calibration, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor raw material feeding and production output.
- Inspect finished solar structure components for dimensions, shape, quality, and defects.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to maintain required standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.




- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in roll-forming machine operation, preferably in solar structure manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of roll-forming machines, rollers, tooling, machine setup, and alignment.
- Experience in production planning and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and dimensions.
- Positive knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring Tape, etc.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Good understanding of production quality and safety standards.
- Ability to manage operators and production activities on the shop floor.

Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in manufacturing:
- Solar mounting structures
- C-channel / U-channel / Z-purlin profiles
- GI / MS roll-formed sections
- Solar structure components
- Continuous roll-forming production lines
