? Remote | Part-Time Internship

Voxel Hyperforge is looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Intern to join our growing engineering team.

This is not a shadowing internship. You will work on practical engineering activities while building documented Knowledge Transfer (KT) material alongside your work. Based on demonstrated performance, interns may also receive opportunities to work on legacy or active client projects.

? ROLE: MECHANICAL DESIGN INTERN

You may work across

- 2D drafting & isometric drawings
- AutoCAD / SolidWorks
- 3D modelling and 2D → 3D design migration
- SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Inventor
- Component & assembly design
- GD&T; and tolerancing
- BOM creation
- Engineering calculations — stress, thermal & fluid
- Tooling & basic mold design
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews
- Technical documentation, manuals, assembly instructions & datasheets

Additional legacy or active client project work may be assigned as you demonstrate capability during the internship.

? WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Students currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering or a related program

- Candidates with an equivalent diploma/certification
- Candidates who can demonstrate practical mechanical design skills, even without formal enrollment
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with CAD / 3D modelling
- Willingness to learn new engineering tools and workflows
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail




- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Good communication and documentation skills

? LAPTOP REQUIREMENT

You must have access to your own laptop/PC and a stable internet connection for remote work.

The hardware specifications mentioned for CAD work are recommended, NOT strict eligibility requirements. If your laptop does not meet the recommended specifications, you can still apply. Task allocation can be adjusted where practical based on your system's capabilities.

? INTERNSHIP STRUCTURE

- Knowledge Transfer documentation starts from Day 1

- KT continues alongside actual work
- Weekly check-ins are mandatory
- Brief async daily updates are expected
- Real work and documentation form part of the internship
- Experience Certificate provided for the agreed internship period
- LOR may be provided based on work quality, communication and professionalism
- Additional project opportunities may be available based on performance

? STIPEND

₹1,500 – ₹5,000/month The stipend depends on skill level and confirmed weekly availability.

Month 1 is a paid working-trial period. Continuation is reviewed monthly based on agreed performance markers.
