About the role
Join our NPI Engineering team to design and develop precision assemblies that meet demanding customer requirements—balancing thermal and mechanical performance, manufacturability, and schedule. You’ll move from concept to prototype to production, collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver high‑quality products on time and within budget. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills, including proactive problem solving.
As part of the NPI Engineering, team will be expected to offer suggestions and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do
- To support the mechanical engineering team by creating accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and documentation using Autodesk Inventor, assisting in the design and development of process heating equipment and components for the oil and gas industry.
- Read and interpret project specifications, customer requirements, and design inputs from senior engineer or project lead.
- Use Autodesk Inventor to develop 3D models and generate 2D fabrication and assembly drawings for structural skids, vessels, piping, and other mechanical assemblies.
- Revise models and drawings based on red lines, engineering feedback, or customer comments to ensure final deliverables are accurate.
- Ensure all designs adhere to internal standards and industry practices.
Maintain explicit, organized design files and documentation.
- Support the engineering team with additional design tasks as needed.
- Education/Experience by level: Level I—BS in Mechanical (Manufacturing/Electro‑Mechanical or equivalent); Level II—4+ yrs; Level III—6+ yrs; Sr—10+ yrs.

Qualification
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
- Associate degree or certification in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Ability to read and understand drawings such as P&ID.;
- Some knowledge of ASME code is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand specifications

Pay: ₹21,500.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
