Purpose: To lead the design and development of mechanical systems, manage projects independently, mentor junior engineers, and ensure technical excellence in product design and implementation. Focus on deeper technical expertise and project leadership

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field

Experience Requirements:

· 3-6 years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering.

· Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and 3D modeling.

· Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality, reliable designs.

· Willingness to learn and develop current skills in mechanical design.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize technical knowledge in applying engineering fundamental principles to design and improve Flexco products. Become familiar with product functions and applications and advise others as needed
2. Work with team members to analyze engineering problems. Become familiar with analysis methods and their applicability to helping solve problems
3. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying design optimization opportunities and implementing best practices.
4. Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure designs meet functional requirements and customer expectations
5. Collaborate with senior engineers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Perform mechanical calculations, stress analysis, and simulations to ensure that designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements
7. Use CAD software (such as SolidWorks, and AutoCAD) to create 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
8. Perform basic mechanical calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet functional and safety standards
9. Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
10. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during production and testing phases
11. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting design enhancements and efficiencies.
12. Communicate design progress and technical details to team members and stakeholders.
13. Manage and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve and modify existing designs. Assess design impacts, prepare comprehensive documentation, and oversee implementation across cross-functional teams.
14. Manage the Product Change Order (PCO) process by evaluating proposed changes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and documenting modifications to ensure compliance and product integrity.
15. Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop customized mechanical products based on client specifications and project requirements.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
