Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Design & Test Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in product development, mechanical design, prototyping, and validation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting new product development through design execution, prototype building, testing, analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Support new product development from concept to prototyping, testing, and release.

- Contribute to the research and development of current products, ensuring timely prototyping, and actively executing design verification and validation, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Mechanical design of components, assemblies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD tools.

- Execute simulations, testing, validation, and root cause analysis.

- Manage rapid prototyping activities including 3D model preparation, 3D printing, and post-processing.

- Plan, set up, and execute mechanical, functional, and reliability tests by developing required test rigs, fixtures, and custom validation setups as per test plans.

- Coordinate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams for design reviews, testing activities, issue resolution, and project execution.

- Maintain, update,



and control departmental documentation in compliance with applicable International Organization for Standardization standards and internal quality systems.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, design methodologies, and product development processes.

- Working knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and engineering drawing standards.

- Hands-on experience in prototyping, fabrication, machining, or 3D printing.

- Experience in product testing, validation methods, and troubleshooting.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of FEA / thermal analysis.

- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication, ownership, multitasking

Preferred Experience

- Consumer products, industrial products, refrigeration, thermal systems, or electromechanical products.

- Experience in design documentation including engineering drawings, BOMs, revision control, test reports, and technical files.

- Exposure to new product development (NPD) lifecycle from concept to production.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams including electronics, production, and quality.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
