The firm leverages Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Reality to improve project coordination, visualization, and delivery.

Role Description The Mechanical and Plumbing BIM Modeler is a full-time hybrid role based in Delhi, India with primarily work from home. The role involves creating, updating, and coordinating mechanical and plumbing BIM models for a variety of building projects, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and alignment with architectural and structural designs. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed 3D models, preparing drawings and schedules, performing clash detection, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and other consultants to resolve design issues.

The BIM Modeler will review project documentation, apply relevant codes and standards, and support the integration of mechanical and plumbing systems into the overall building design.



The role also includes participation in design coordination meetings and continuous improvement of modeling standards and workflows.

Since this is a work from home opportunity, the hours are 3pm-12am IST.

Qualifications

- Strong Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical systems design skills relevant to building projects.
- Proficiency in BIM tools for modeling mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Experience with Revit or similar BIM platforms and familiarity with North American (USA) design and drawing standards
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Attention to detail, strong spatial visualization skills, and the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, cooperative work practices.
