Qualification

- MD (Ayurveda) in Kayachikitsa from a recognized university/institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State/Central Ayurveda Medical Council.
- BAMS qualification is mandatory.

Experience
- 0–8 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Fresh MD candidates with strong clinical knowledge may also be considered.

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and patient-focused MD Kayachikitsa to provide comprehensive Ayurvedic consultation, diagnosis and treatment for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Kayachikitsa, Ayurvedic principles, Panchakarma, classical formulations and integrative clinical practices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed OPD/IPD consultations and assess patients based on Ayurvedic principles.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases through appropriate Ayurvedic treatment protocols.
- Take detailed patient history and perform relevant clinical examinations.
- Develop individualized Ayurvedic treatment plans based on Prakriti, Vikriti, Dosha, Dhatu, Agni and disease condition.
- Prescribe appropriate Ayurvedic medicines, formulations and therapies as per clinical requirements.
- Provide guidance regarding diet, lifestyle, Dinacharya and Pathya-Apathya.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans whenever required.
- Handle chronic lifestyle disorders and conditions such as digestive disorders, metabolic disorders, joint and musculoskeletal conditions,



respiratory disorders, skin disorders and other Kayachikitsa-related conditions.
- Provide consultation and guidance for Panchakarma therapies wherever clinically indicated.
- Coordinate with Panchakarma therapists, nurses, pharmacists and other clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, treatment plans and follow-up notes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, clinical protocols and documentation standards.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment procedures, expected outcomes and precautions.
- Participate in patient follow-ups and review treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards while dealing with patients.
- Participate in health camps, awareness programs, workshops and educational activities when required.
- Provide clinical guidance to junior doctors and healthcare staff.
- Coordinate with the Quality/QA team for maintaining clinical standards and patient safety.

Key Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge of Kayachikitsa and Ayurvedic Samhitas.
- Excellent diagnostic and patient assessment skills.
- Good knowledge of Ayurvedic medicines and classical formulations.
- Knowledge of Panchakarma procedures and indications.
- Strong communication and counselling skills.
- Good documentation and patient management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Patient-centric approach with strong clinical ethics.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per hour
