Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Public Relations Executive role based in Chennai. The role involves planning and executing PR and marketing initiatives that promote Odyssey’s information security solutions and strengthen brand visibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and distributing press releases, managing media outreach, organizing briefings and events, and supporting campaigns that highlight product innovations and customer success stories.





The executive will collaborate with internal teams to develop clear, engaging communication materials for digital and traditional channels, monitor coverage and campaign performance, and maintain consistent brand messaging. The role also includes managing social media presence, supporting content development, and contributing to strategic marketing plans.

Qualifications

- Strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Ability to plan, draft, and manage Press Releases and related PR collateral tailored to different audiences.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into explicit, accessible language.
- Experience in marketing or communications within technology, cybersecurity, or B2B sectors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, basic digital marketing tools, and media monitoring/analytics solutions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative environment in Chennai and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
