Job Role: Market Operations Analyst

Summary

- Client & Operations Support: First-line support for account management, trade settlement, product/registry holdings, and platform issues.

- Trade Lifecycle Management: Ensure accurate and timely execution of front-to-back client and trade processes.

- Reporting & Controls: Manage daily processes, reporting, exceptions, and compliance with control frameworks.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Finance, and external registry partners.

- Process Improvement: Support system enhancements, new business initiatives, and continuous improvement.

- Key Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, technical understanding, problem-solving, and a strong control mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Service & Level 1 Support

- Provide first-line support for global clients.

- Handle account, onboarding, holdings, and platform queries.

- Trade Settlement & Lifecycle Management

- Manage daily trading and market activities.

- Execute trade settlement processes within controls.

- Holdings, Registry & Transfer Administration

- Process intraday and end-of-day transfers.

- Manage deposits and withdrawals through partner registries.

- Break Resolution & Exception Management

- Reconcile and resolve trade, holdings, and reporting discrepancies.

- Coordinate with Commercial and Technology teams.

- Reporting & Market Analysis

- Prepare trading and operational reports.

- Analyze market activity and trends.

- New Business & Platform Enhancement





- Support new product/service launches.

- Assist with Salesforce Service Cloud, CRM, and reporting enhancements.

- Controls, Procedures & Escalation

- Follow SOPs and control frameworks.

- Identify and escalate risks and exceptions promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree with approximately 1–3 years of experience in a financial services related Operations, Middle Office, or Client Service function.

- Availability to work a schedule with meaningful overlap with US Eastern business hours.

- Availability to participate in a rotating coverage schedule, including periodic weekend coverage, as market activity requires.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supporting both internal collaboration across multiple teams and external client-facing interaction.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing demands and priorities, with sound judgement on when to pivot.

- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing nuances across platforms, registries, and products.

- A control mentality, with the ability to both follow and enhance operational procedures.

- Proactive self-starter who takes ownership of processes, works independently, and is not afraid to ask questions or pick up the phone.

- Proven technical and analytical skills, with a systematic problem-solving approach.

- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and general familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

- Solid desire to continuously learn, embrace change quickly, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong interest in environmental markets.
