Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support technical documentation, plant historian systems, and manufacturing data management. The role will focus on creating and maintaining accurate system documentation while supporting AVEVA PI System, SQL/PL-SQL databases, and plant data interfaces.

The candidate will work closely with IT, Automation/Controls, MES, Engineering, and Operations teams to document and validate plant data architecture, historian configurations, interfaces, and system information.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, including SOPs, system configuration documents, data mappings, interface specifications, architecture diagrams, and support procedures.

- Maintain documentation for AVEVA PI System and other plant historian/database platforms.

- Document and maintain PI tags, data sources, interfaces, equipment mappings, naming conventions, and system configurations.

- Support historian activities including tag management, data validation, historical data retrieval, troubleshooting, and data-quality verification.

- Use SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and troubleshooting.

- Document data flows across PLC/SCADA → Historian → MES/Manufacturing Applications → Enterprise systems.

- Work with Automation, Engineering, IT, MES, and Operations teams to collect, validate,



and maintain technical information.

- Maintain documentation version control, change history, configuration records, and document repositories.

- Support project documentation, system upgrades, migrations, audits, compliance activities, and knowledge-transfer documentation.

- Assist project teams in identifying and documenting existing plant systems, interfaces, databases, and data dependencies.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing IT, industrial automation, historian systems, databases, or technical documentation.

- Hands-on exposure to AVEVA PI / PI System or comparable industrial historian platforms.

- Working knowledge of PI tags, interfaces/connectors, historian data structures, and manufacturing data collection.

- Positive working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases.

- Understanding of manufacturing systems such as PLC, SCADA, Historian, MES, and their data flows is preferred.

- Working knowledge of OPC UA server and how it interacts with Sensors and Pi DB.

- Strong technical writing, documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work with cross-functional technical and plant teams.
