Job Highlights: B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Process
Engineering of Cable Assembly domain.
: Manufacturing Process Engineer with hands-on expertise in wire harness manufacturing processes, including crimping, wire preparation, soldering, ultrasonic splicing/welding, and harness protection techniques. Experienced in optimizing process parameters, ensuring product quality, improving productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across assembly operations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow
Charts (PFC), and Work Instructions (WI) to ensure robust process control and risk mitigation.
Design and develop tools and fixtures to enhance process capability, productivity, and quality performance.
Establish and implement manufacturing standards, process controls, and validation plans during sample development and mass production.
Ensure compliance and working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for wire harness assembly and workmanship requirements.
Review and interpret product specifications, drawings, and process requirements for both ongoing production and product transfers.
Collaborate with cross-site Manufacturing Engineering teams to support smooth product transfer and localization activities.
Manage receipt, verification, and organization of manufacturing equipment details and documentation during product transfers and Current Product Development (NPD).
Conduct process risk assessments, analyze potential failure modes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous Process and Quality improvements.
Coordinate with the NPI team for prototype/sample builds, process validation, and successful production ramp-up.
Provide structured support to the Project Manager on technical and cross-functional assignments.

Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational and strategic objectives.
