Role & responsibilities

- Manage receipt, inspection, storage and issue of Raw Materials, Packing Materials, Intermediates and Finished Goods as per SOPs.
- Prepare GAR/GRN, coordinate QC sampling, material labelling, weighing and documentation.
- Maintain warehouse records, logbooks, inventory reconciliation and label records.
- Manage SAP transactions, stock verification and monitoring of slow/non-moving materials.
- Ensure proper handling of solvents, hazardous materials, engineering/project stores and spares.
- Coordinate finished goods dispatch, logistics and transporter activities.
- Ensure GMP/GDP compliance and readiness for regulatory and customer audits.
- Handle Excise, Prohibition, Narcotics, Petroleum and Poison Act requirements and statutory records.
- Prepare/review SOPs and conduct training for warehouse personnel.
- Manage change control, deviations, CAPA and incident investigations.
- Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping,



fixed-asset reconciliation and effective utilization of manpower.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong understanding of GMP/GDP norms for pharma, biotech, and premix products
- Regulatory and audit preparedness (USFDA, WHO, EDQM, FSSAI, etc.)
- Leadership and team development
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration across functions
- High attention to documentation and compliance detail

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or related field. Additional qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics preferred. Experience: 10+ years in a regulated pharma/API/biotech manufacturing setting.

Important: Candidates without hands-on API manufacturing plant experience will not be considered.
