About the position:

The Manager – Students Residential Services will be responsible for the overall management and efficient functioning of CEPT Residency, guest houses, rental accommodation and hostel facilities. The position will oversee day-to-day residential operations, resident services, housekeeping, service providers, facilities coordination, safety and security, vendor management, contracts and related administrative requirements, ensuring a safe, well-maintained and positive residential experience for students, faculty, staff, guests and other residents.

The role will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and service quality across residential facilities, addressing resident requirements and concerns, coordinating with internal teams and external service providers, implementing standard operating procedures, monitoring service delivery and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Residential Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of CEPT Residency and students’ hostels, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, safety, security and comfortable living conditions.
- Resident Services: Address resident requirements, concerns and feedback and ensure timely and effective resolution in coordination with relevant teams.




- Housekeeping & Support Services: Oversee housekeeping and other residential service providers, ensuring appropriate service levels, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Residential Dining: Oversee dining and food services within residential facilities, ensuring timely meals, food quality, hygiene and service standards.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Manage residential vendors and service providers and coordinate contracts, procurement and performance monitoring.
- Facilities & Maintenance: Monitor residential and common facilities and coordinate with relevant teams and service providers for maintenance, repairs and operational requirements.
- Safety & Emergency Coordination: Ensure safety and security through effective access control, visitor management, security monitoring and adherence to emergency protocols. Coordinate with security personnel and relevant stakeholders during incidents and emergencies.
- SOPs & Training: Develop and review SOPs for residential operations, housekeeping, hygiene and safety and ensure appropriate training of support staff and service providers.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, facilities and the overall resident experience.
- Student & Parent Grievances: Serve as the primary point of contact for student and parent concerns & grievances relating to accommodation, food, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and residential services, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation to the internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Master’s degree in hospitality management,



Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience in residential/hostel operations, facility management, campus administration, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
- Experience in a university, educational institution, large campus, hospitality establishment or similar setting will be preferred.

Expertise required:

- Strong experience in residential/hostel operations, housekeeping and facility management.
- Experience in managing outsourced services and multiple vendors, with the ability to monitor service standards, costs and performance.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality, hygiene, safety and residential service standards.
- Experience in vendor management, administration and procurement processes.
- Strong operational, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate end-to-end residential services.
- Experience in SOP implementation, staff training and performance monitoring.
- Strong organizational and budget-management skills, with an ability to manage resources efficiently.
- Ability to handle resident & parents concerns sensitively and resolve operational issues effectively.
- The candidate should demonstrate a strong service orientation and a commitment to providing responsive and courteous service.
