Tasks :

- Handle litigation, arbitration and legal matters across the Company, ensuring timely monitoring, follow-up and resolution of cases.
- Provide legal advice and review on contracts, agreements, tenders, commercial matters and business proposals to safeguard the Compan's interests.
- Ensure effective legal and regulatory compliance, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with external counsel, advocates, statutory authorities and internal divisions/units on legal matters and proceedings.
- Strengthen preventive legal controls, documentation and contract management practices to minimize legal exposure and disputes.
- Maintain effective legal case tracking, reporting and management information, supporting management in informed and risk-conscious business decisions.

Requirements Maximum Age: 40 years as on 01.08.2026

Basic pay range: Rs. 50000 - 160000/-

Gross Salary: Rs.105350/- (Non-Metro) (approx.) at the minimum of the scale.

Annual CTC: Rs.15.50 lakh (Non-Metro) (approx.) at the minimum of the scale.





Qualification:

Essential: Full time Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University / Institution

Post Qualification Experience:

Essential: Minimum 8 years of post qualification experience in corporate legal matters, litigation management, contract drafting and vetting, legal advisory, arbitration, statutory and regulatory compliance and coordination with courts, tribunals and external legal counsel.

Candidates from CPSUs shall be holding posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 40000 - 140000 (Revised 2017 Scale) / Rs. 16400 - 40500 (pre-revised 2007 scale) for a minimum period of two years.

Desirable: Experience in a Government organisation, CPSE or large corporate entity; exposure to vigilance matters, departmental inquiries or investigations in a CPSE, autonomous body or Government department will be an added advantage.
